I recently got into brewing (less than a year ago) and I have really enjoyed the ability to express my own flavor preferences and be creative, not to mention it is just fun.
Because there is no accounting for personal taste, all my brews are done how I like them. I recommend tweaking the recipes to your personal preferences if you so desire.
Musick Milk Stout is a recipe I wrote to create a mildly chocolaty, coffee-forward Sweet Stout on the high end of ABV for Stouts. This is my favorite recipe.
The Kirby Kölsch, while it is not TECHNICALLY a Kölsch, was a great way for me to improve upon more detailed or complex techniques, such as brewing with clarifiers.
An Anthropologist's IPA is a recipe I wrote with my brother, who loves IPAs (I am not a huge fan). It is an intensely hoppy, citrusy IPA, with notes of tropical fruit, and a high ABV.
