Dash (formerly known as Darkcoin and XCoin) is an open, distributed payment system that anonymizes transactions using a mechanism called "Darksend". Cryptocurrency was renamed in March of last year when the project was completely renamed. And while this cryptocurrency and the Darksend technology are anonymous, the participants in this project, in contrast, are completely open and do not hide their names and intentions. In 2015, the code only appeared, with market-capped DASH ranked fifth among all cryptocurrencies. Agree that this is not bad enough for a beginner. Given that there are many other former cryptocurrencies that have not even come close to this success. Dash is clearly different from its competitors: The developers of the system (and especially Evan Duffield) wanted to make their product as different as possible to beat the first digital currency of the future. So far, Dash has not made it, but steady growth and a place in the top ten cryptocurrencies indicate the correct course of the Dash team. After a thorough investigation by Bitcoin in 2010-2012, Evan Duffield concluded that encryption must evolve for the anonymity of payments.
To implement this principle, he created the digital currency XCoin. Because information about senders and recipients of transactions in Dash is unknown, network users can not publish their personal information. With this idea, Ewan Duffield laid the foundation for the Dash concept, and that's precisely the competitive advantage of cryptocurrency. Another important feature of Dash is the speed of transaction confirmation. With Bitcoin, referrals can be delayed by several hours, but with Dash, almost all payments are settled within 2-3 minutes. Thanks to this, digital currency manufacturers rely on their use as an investment vehicle. In the future, Dash can also be used as a means of payment for goods. The main focus of the DASH developer is anonymity. Bitcoin is also not entirely anonymous in their opinion, and with the recent flirtations with governments in different countries, the prospect of Bitcoin as an alternative to physical money is getting darker and darker. But all this later, since considerations on this subject can be based on several volumes, we will only look at those who really deserve attention. Few other Altcoins are so excited about the developers and the management.
