I was doing basic extract kits several years ago but had to quit all brewing to focus on personal duties and responsibilities and ended up selling/giving away all my equipment.
Not long ago I rejoined the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) and decided to get back into brewing as "my thing".
Since then I have required brewing equipment (5 gal), and a new enthusiasm to pursue the art (science?).
My main focus is on traditional "period" styles found in Europe pre-1650.
