I have a ten-gallon Blichmann Brew Easy setup with an electric coil in my basement. I had a gas-fired Blichman Top Tier setup but a combination of uncooperative weather and schlepping brews up/down stairs made me think twice. I'm an all-grain brewer and a member of the St. Louis Brews. I'm trying to brew more frequently - session beers - for pleasant and unusual taste. Largely ales, as I have limited refrigeration.
