I've been brewing for about 4 months now, started out with Extract but moved pretty quickly on to All Grain using the BIAB method.
I've got a 36 litre kettle with built in thermometer and tap and use a Turkey Fryer for heat.
I have a pretty crude sparging setup whereby I dump the bag on to an oven rack over the top of a plastic container and squeeze the hell out of it. Then I slowly dribble about 3 litres of boiling water through the bag and squeeze again. I then add this to the wort as its heating up to boil.
I use a copper coil for cooling and plastic air locked fermenters for my fermenting.
I'm a hop head so always add lots of hop additions and usually add dry hops to a secondary fermenter using a hop sock.
I 've only used bottles but would love to move on to kegging.
I mainly brew APAs as thats my favorite style of beer.
I've also made a pretty decent Porter (Yeastie Boys Pot Kettle Black clone) that I found tasted great combined with a pretty boring Extract Stout I'd made and wondered what to do with.
I'll probably stick to the APAs until I perfect it!
