I started brewing in 02 /2013. My first 5 gal batch was a partial extract (hopped bitter) with 05 yeast and 2# of pale ale grain. .073 og. I never got it to carb up and it took 3 weeks to drink. It was the best flat beer I've ever had. Been doing all grain ever sense, about 15 batches . now getting into using some wheat and trying different water profile to get more malt flavors out of my grains.
IPA,APA,EPA yes I like my beer lite in color but find nothing wrong with a good hoppy dark brew. Update, it's now 2015 and after brewing 53 batches I'm starting to like my beers darker and on the sweet side. I'm looking forward to perfecting a chocolate vanilla robust porter.
