World domination is a lonely game in which everyone has a role. Strategic allies, enemies, spies: sometimes one needs a break from villainy. How better than the ancient art of brewery to contemplate human natures... and it's weaknesses?

What I look for in a beer is much of what I look for in life, something that's creative, inventive, humorous, but at the core, damn fine. I refer to this combination as "kicking ass". Thus, I am always in search of a kick ass beer.

I like IPAs. That make make me the enemy, but I'm not the one drawing battle lines.

I've declared this the YEAR OF THE IPA! I will be brewing one IPA a month with different techniques, and new hops, and hopefully unlocking ancient and eldritch mysteries of the hop.

When I'm not obsessed with hops, I have a very fine cream ale, coffee stout, oktoberfest, and Russian Imperial Stout that can mix it up with the best of 'em.
