Just getting started in brewing, but I can see it's going to be a hobby for a LONG TIME. I'm currently working on a PhD in microbiology, so the carry-overs to brewing are obvious. Sticking to extract batches for the time being in the interest of time and getting the hang of the rest of the process, but will move to AG eventually. I generally keep my records in a lab notebook, so registered activity on this site will be minimal and not representative of my brewing progress.
