2018 - novice, but keen. Investing in a decent kit, starting off with extracts and some steeping grain recipes, but planning to move to all grain.
Like most members, I imagine, I like a wide range of beers. I cannot drink industrial beers of any kind, but almost anything brewed locally by an independent craftsman (or craftswoman) is welcome in my glass. My goal is to be able to taste something I like, find a recipe to mimic it, and try my hand at brewing it.
