BIAB brewing using a 7.5 gallon pot.
Originally started with 3 gallon batches, however I am adapting my setup to do 5 gallon batches. My strategy is to start with a 5.5 gallon wort volume at the beginning of the boil and add 1 quart/15 min of boiling water to maintain my volume throughout the boil. Should work just fine.
Drinking a cascadian dark ale. Beer kit from Northern Brewer. First home brew in 20+years.
Kolsch in the secondary and clearing really nicely. Another kit from Northern Brewer.
Next brew is a an American rye ale and a Kolsch (both @ 5 gal, both my recipes)
