i have bounced around from morebeer, northern brewer, AIH, etc but i have settled on brew hardware as my favorite spot, good ingredient selection and parts galore and prices are great , whats your spot?

Keystone Homebrew Supply. Fastest turnaround for me from the time I hit “Send Order” to the time the package arrives.

I"m damn spoiled. I put in an order locally, tell the local store when I am coming, drive 20 minutes up the road, and it is a hell of a lot cheaper than anywhere else. If I had to go to choice 2 and drive 40 minutes, they have a couple of damn good beers at the bar at that store LOL
I went to a place in Tampa last year that had 40 taps between beer, wine, and Kombucha with a homebrew store. Dude made some wonderful shit.

Kegland here for equipment like fermenters- kegs -c02 bottles - all the brewing hardware spunding beer line disconnects-stainless steel fittings ...
https://www.kegland.com.au/
But for ingredients like hops and grain I've really loved shopping with Hoppydays brewing supplies https://hoppydaysbrewingsupplies.com.au/ since their in Queensland another new found great little Queenslander is Mates Rates homebrew supplies https://matesratehomebrewsupplies.com.au/ who sell brewing enzymes. They also ops by the kilogram if you want and newer Hop technology like cryo hops and that stuff in the syringes.

(This is All Australian Supply).

Me too! I support my LHBS as much as I can...remember, you seldom get to chat with another knowledgeable Homebrewer at the mail order! They'll do curbside if I'm in a hurry and toss an ice pack in with the yeast! Maryland Homebrew is 15 minutes out of the way on the commute so it's not a big deal....but it's a big difference! Otherwise, Amazon.

Have you checked out their new place? I went to the old one out of muscle memory a few weeks ago, saw it all closed down and under reno...almost cried until I found out they moved down the road a little

I wanna say that happened late last year..I did the same thing after being there around Thanksgiving but there was a note on the door then. Chris was still doing organizing and the "showroom" was not yet fully set up at the new place. I was there about 2 weeks ago and they appear to be fully moved in now. Great bunch of folks at MHB....heck, they are homebrewers...how can't they be!

Uff...can't like that one! How's Atlantic? The advertise on Experimental Brewing and I've looked through their website but never bought anything..I have used Williams out in California as they seem to have good prices....always an attraction to a cheap bastard like me!

I get ingredients from a homebrew shop about 30 minutes away, order online, pick up whenever. They keep yeast in the fridge until you show up. I use OBK (Ontario Beer Kegs) a bit for equipment, but they charge shipping for the dollar volumes I purchase.

Consider me lucky. I have ordered a couple pieces of equipment over the past 4+ years from MoreBeer (FerMonster 3 gallon fermenter, and my 5.5 gallon ssBrewtech kettle), but I am fortunate to have LHBS in reasonable proximity since I started brewing. My new LHBS (Home Fermenter) is a short 2.8 miles from my door. I’ll be heading there shortly.

I definitely envy you. My “local” HBS is a 90 minute ride up and down I81, meaning it’s not local and it’s essentially out of the question. I’ve only ever been there once, when I was looking for a particular smoked malt to make @Nosybear ’s Piwo Grodziskie. They were the only place that had it at the time. It’s a neat little shop with a very knowledgeable guy that runs the place….and a craft winery right next door. I should make time and get back there someday.

They are pretty fast and prices are good. Shipping sucks unless you spend a lot. The have a good variety of malts the liquid yeast I’ve gotten from them has been fresher and anywhere else I’ve purchased

I’ve also used Williams and like them. But not used other than fermzilla stuff

I was using Midwest Supplies, but they ticked me off when something I ordered ("in stock" on their website) was actually on backorder and the whole shipment was delayed about two weeks - not acceptable! I found a supplier about a 2 hour drive away - O'Connor's Home Brew Supply in Grand Rapids. They have pretty much everything in stock at good prices and it will arrive in a day with "ground" shipping (cheaper than driving there), but if I need a 55lb sack of grain, I can pick it up to save $$$$. Very happy with them!

When I need something (ingredients) right away I go to me LHBS about 13 miles away. I shoot the breeze and prolly have a few samples of the "beers in the back" I also use morebeer, AIH, or any online place that has what I want or need but not right away. I also figure in shipping if not free. Most of my orders qualify for free shipping. It still takes a week to get here from Pennsylvania (morebeer)
