I am thinking about taking a break from brewing beer and instead making some cheese in my beer refrigerator. Do you think it is safe to go back to beer if I clean the refrigerator well after aging cheese in there for several months?

I would think you could do both as long as you were careful to make sure the air locks were in tact.

Agree: as long as you take proper care to keep the beer sanitary. But washing the inside of the warm fridge with a bleach solution could not hurt.

Suggestion: Beer Cheese.

Not a cheese maker but that never kept me from wading into something where my deep insights rival a mud puddle....but a recall about cheese.... doesn't cheese need to "breath" where beer needs to off gas then is kept in a container that keeps the gas in? I0W, I don't think the beer will be affected but I'm wondering about the cheese if you have a science project going on that you are yet to detect....
