I have a dme kit for IPA. decided didnt want to do another ipa so i swapped out stuff and did this....what style of beer do you think this will be most similar to?
5 lb light dme
steep 30 min
1lb briess caramel 10l
1lb briess 6l
8oz carapils
1oz galena 60min
.5oz perle 60 min
.5oz galena 15 min
1 kick caragen
nottingham ale yeast from starter
5 gallons pressure ferment 68degrees
my favorite beer is modelo espec. i had the galena around from a corona knock off kit. I didnt have any corn, so i know this wont be american/mexican lager without that. And since i swapped in nottingham ale yeast, it isnt a lager anyway.
so what type of beer is this going to be?
I am hoping it isnt totally bland without any real flavor hops. Just a light smooth drinking ale, i guess.
