Revisiting Hop Water (bottle conditioned)

So I'm planning to revisit brewing hop water in the next few weeks and am wondering if there is any news on that front since 2023. I'll be bottle conditioning and will probably use molasses sugar in order to add some heft (hopefully) to the flavor, although what's not to like about making love in a canoe?

One question regarding the selection of hops, am I better off using a hops that is classified as aroma, as bittering, or both?
 
My opinion is not that of an expert; use with caution!
Aroma hops will give aroma, bittering hops just give (mostly) bitterness. I suspect that most hop water uses the aroma and not the bitterness.
 
I tried laganitus (sp?) tropical one and would brew that...it had that bubble gummy hop in it...very drinkable...very fruit soda-ie
