I just brewed Rhys's Peanut Butter Stout, fermenting in a Catalyst clear fermenter. Pulled close to a gallon to mix 26 oz of PB2 into a liquid and tried to boil but it got thicker and thicker, stopped at 180. Mixed it in and it all settles to the bottom. What's the deal, keep mixing daily and chance infection everytime I open, or dump it like true? This is a $100 recipe, i hate to lose 20%

I have no idea, I do know from making satay sauce that peanut butter binds like crazy.
I wouldn't think of brewing with it, but that's by the by.
my feeling is to just keep it, don't dump yet and hope that the yeast agitates it.

Or shake it around every so often, if that's possible

We have another brewer with a similar issue. From the ingredients, it's just peanuts...

Ha I honestly wasn't paying attention and thought it was the same person. Random that two people ask the same question in the short time frame.
