Hey folks, it's about time for me to start brewing again. I plan to do more "no chill' brewing but I'm having a hard time finding the right containers as far as max temperature and food safe. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find said containers? I've looked on Amazon, US Plastics, and many other sites but the max temp is 180F. Help!!

one type I guess

I won't argue with that. But easier to clean, no heat issues, won't scratch, no light.

You can get 7 gal stainless ferms for ~$100
I have a SS Brewbucket I could use. I had been just sealing up the kettle with plastic wrap and foil. I could continue doing that.

More $$$'s than plastic HDPE
Yup HDPE cube we use IN Aus.

@Ozarks Mountain Brew what are them plastic containers your fermenting in?

They look like HDPE.

If not Camping style water containers in them big camping chains or even that home depo should have them.

The plastic is usually quite thick and ridgid.

Fuel containers for instance are hdpe plastic.

Anyhow these plastic can withstand boiling wort.

Be careful with the shoit it's a sticky hot mess.

The link for Gash slug here in Aus he's the go to and if you respond to his videos he always answers back;).

So just cool the wort (OK, let it cool...) to 179.9 before dumping it in there. That's too hot to be a sanitation concern. Problem solved!

I used one of those for years. More than $100, but not by allot

Just thinking:
You should actually have a brew kettle that closes like a pressure cooker.
Then you don't even need to transfer the wort :)

After reading all of your responses, I'm going to keep doing what I have been doing and spend the dough on ingredients.
