I have a 3 roller malt muncher and set on the biggest gap 0.063 it still crushes to fine so I am having to wet condition my grain every time I brew so that the husks are more intact.
any one else have this issue ?

Clean your rollers, I've had that happens also

I have mine set to .028" and is barely small enough.

Are you sure the secondary is set correctly?

Minibari - there is only one adjustable roller and I have it on the largest setting, watched videos on how to adjust, pretty straight forward.

They get a slick coating sometimes, use alcohol and brush it with a metal brush, it's happened to me before

My son just bought a mill and asked about the setting. I measured mine with feeler gage and mine is also at .028"

Used to have it set to .022, was too much flour and it wouldn't drain for anything. Have to find a happy medium

I need to clean mine and check the gap. Worst efficiency had in a while.

A coarser crush and slower sparge is actually more effective than a finer crush, so I'd try to adjust it way out if possible.
