Wyeast recently posted on their IG 1217-PC WCIPA Yeast and 2352-PC Munich Lager II Yeast. I always go to MoreBeer typically to get my liquid yeasts but they told me their discontinued and won't be carrying them even tho Wyeast said they're coming out this week/month.

Any other online retailers to check out?

I found a some similar White Labs that I'm going to go with instead, I'm thinking unless something changes. WLP090 San Diego Super Ale and WLP860 Munich Lager.

You can match strains between the two. There are a few web sites that will help you with that. The newer White Labs Pure Pitch is basically a double pitch. Keep that in mind when you buy it. I initially freaked out seeing something for $13 or 14, but I only needed one. I also like using it better vs. the smack packs. No BS, unscrew cap and pour.
If you are looking for dry yeast that is clean 34/70 works well for a lager yeast.
I don't need to worry about shipping as I go to the store and pick it up. Thus, I don't have to gamble with it going bad in the mail.

Good to know about the double pitch. With that in mind, can I skip making a starter?

I would always do a starter with liquid yeast unless it's super fresh (manufactured within like the last 30 days) or if brewing a smaller size batch (3 gallons or less).

Another advantage of dry yeast is that it never needs a starter.

I don't use starters. I pitch heavy. The one Pure Pitch was = Two. My yeast is usually well within date from the homebrew store. They do a nice job with that.

Found a yeast comparison chart on MoreBeer and The WLP860 matches with the 2352 that I was looking for. Blind luck?

The Wyeast 860 comes in dry now. I’ve used it twice now. Super tasty. The Schwarzbier I’ve been posting used it. The dunkel I just kegged as well. More beer has it
