Hi, I've had my kegerator for just over a year. The beer is cold enough but my first pour is always foamy. Pressure is at 10 and I only have 1 faucet. I clean at least once per month and also when I change kegs. Any ideas on if this is fixable.
Thanks

What diameter service hose and how long?

3/16 by 7/16

There are about 3-4'.

It's probably exasabated by the warm tap cold beer foams on the warm tap housing on the first pour then your second one if you drink another soon after will be less foamy.

Try increasing your line length.
I run 4m lines at 4mm ID.

Hose length is a key factor. 5 to 6 feet is minimum for most systems. If it's only the first glass, that's not uncommon but it's nice when you have less foaming on the first one.

As others said. Double it. I have 6-7ft of serve line. Had 2ft and it foamed like crazy

If it's just first pour there's two things you can't really change. Big one is the one Ben's already mentioned, warm taps and cold beer create a decent amount of foam. Also if you've got a decent amount of beer line outside the fridge that will also increase the foam on first pour. I just accept the first pour of the day is going to have a lot of foam.

The commercial systems use glycol inside the tap fonts to keep the taps and lines permanently cold so they don't have this problem. Which also gives them that wonderful frozen condensation side effect if it's set really low.

I have found the 10' of 3/16" tubing and 10-12 PSI works well for me. I have fairly long shanks which helps keep the taps cooler. I do get a wee bit more foam on the first pour, but I generally get pretty consistent pours.

Also, beer is far more prone to fobbing under C02 than mixed gas. That's part of the compromise we have in homebrew world.

I had a foam problem with mine as well, as many have mentioned a longer hose may fix most of your problem. I just changed all of my lines to 10' and my foaming problem seems to be resolved now.
