This is my golden lager. It is a very simple clean beer.

It has little to no hop aroma, and very little hop flavor, mostly a balanced golden lager. I have brewed this recipe probably 30 times with very few changes made to it, if anything it have just been simplifying it over time. i would only worry about the IBUs, percentages and types hops. Im using Cryo hops so it looks a little strange.

for your recipe, i dont know that you will gain anything by adding those hops after flame out. They wont add much to the flavor or aroma. That being said, i have a 0 min addition. In my mind it helps to round out the hop profile. i doubt that it would make a noticable difference to the flavor if i shifted the hops into the boil or got rid of them totally.

as far as a calculator goes, not that i know of. I look at post boil hop additions in lighter beers as sort of "filling out" the flavor profile without adding any bitterness.

This is the opposite end of the spectrum, a juicy session ipa. basically all of my hops are in the flavor/aroma timeframe with a relatively large dryhop.

This beer has almost no bitterness but a nice fruity hop character and is my second best seller. The recipe above it is my best seller by far.

1-2 ounces in the whirl. It won't make a huge impact, but you going to have to get a feel for it. I personally start at 2 ounces (57 grams).
