Paid off car early wife said to get something I want but don’t need so I got a tilt. It is in my fermenter. How do I connect it to brewers friend? Been 10-15 minutes and nothing is logged in my brew session

I think you need to pair it to a Bluetooth capable transmitter, like a Raspberry Pi or something similar

I just went into integration under your profile and look up tilt. Then go into the tilt app and copy the url in the 3rd party cloud logging
He still needs something to go from Tilt-bluetooth to WiFi-internet
@Josh Hughes let me know if you need any info. I have set up a couple friends with a Pi zero ($10) and it seems to be bulletproof.
In the meantime, get the Tilt app for your phone.

Well, it DOES connect...but by bluetooth. Some folks dedicate an old laptop or tablet to it, but the software is a kinda brew-your-own thing, Tilt does offer a free Linux image for a Raspberry Pi Zero that has a very nice app that bridges from bluetooth to internet (assuming you have WiFi in the house?).
Thankfully, it's not expensive.

The Pi Zero W does. The plain old Pi Zero (without the W) does not.
They also sell a Pi Zero W H for $5 more which has headers, but they are not used here. The (unusable) Pi Zero is $5, The Pi Zero W is $10.
Josh, you can use a retired tablet or phone as the bridge device between the Tilt and the internet. I have my wife's old iPad with the Tilt app. I just leave it plugged in, since she got a new one because the battery in this one wouldn't hold a charge.
Right now using my phone. I’m ok if I don’t have constant updates. Having the data even if once a day in BF in my brew sessions is really all I’m after. I have an iPad mini that my daughter broke I may get the screen fixed and use it for constant updates which would be good when I’m at work. That of course is useless until I get in linked here.

1. Go to integrations and get the link for reporting and copy to the Tilt app. I think you have done this.
2. Go to your brew session and under the fermentation tab, open up Devices. You'll need to pick Tilt and the color and then select Active. Then it should start reporting, about once every 15 minutes. It takes about 10 minutes for the first reading to log.
The app needs to stay open and the device needs to stay in Bluetooth range of the Tilt for reporting. Any Dr commissioned smart phone will work if it has Bluetooth and WiFi. If you don't have one, you should be able to ask around. Someone will have an old phone that doesn't hold a charge.

Did 1 and 2. Couldn’t get link to paste in the app. I’ll mess around more today. I’m at least seeing temperature and gravity so I’m getting some beer nerd fix lol

Did that yesterday couldn’t get it to work. My Bluetooth and wifi are always on
If you start from the very beginning and go step by step, it would work. I wonder if something very small was missed, so it’s worth doing again. That happened to me when I first tried to set up my Tilt. The other thing is to make sure you have the most updated Tilt app- I had the Tilt app and had some problems then I saw on the site that there was a Tilt 2 (that was a while ago).
I’ll go through that again once I get back home. I do have the tilt 2 app. It worked right out of the box. Read 0.99 Gravity I water and temp was accurate. Sanitized and dropped into wort got reading and temp etc. couldn’t copy the url. I’ll go through again and see if I missed something
HOLY POOPIE it’s logging in my brew session. It started from today but still I’ll get some tracking information.
