looking at a recipe that calls for cryo hops , have had a look at local HBS but they don't sell them
So if i have to use pellets for 1oz of Cryo what would it be in pellets

I don’t think it’s as easy as saying x Cryo = y Pellets.

Cryo hops are designed so that a lot of the vegetal material is removed. They are a super charged pellet. You would have to add more pellet hops to get the intensity of Cryo, but you’d also be carrying in more hop matter. Maybe it won’t be noticeable in the end, but my guess is the beers wouldn’t be exactly the same,

I speculate it can vary between around five to one and fifteen to one. I don't really know though. @Bigbre04 uses cryo hops often, maybe he knows.

General rule of thumb is 2:1 t90:Cryo

I use them as often as i can get them. If I had more volume to spare, i would switch to t90 or atleast use a blend of the 2. I use them because they absorb far less liquid volume then a t90 between the dryhop and the kettle additions.
