Club free wort day

Well we have our annual club wort day next weekend July 20th here in Aitkin, Mn. Even better it is done at the brewery.
What is sad is only a few people have said they are coming. It is free, take home a jug or a bucket (or two, shh) of sweet wort, all you have to do is show up in the morning with a container.

With have not decided on a recipe yet, two years ago a cream ale, last year a Marzen (octoberfest style) which turned out well and I served at our Harvest Moon Brewfest last year.

Damn, I'm in Atlanta so I might not make it. But that sounds like an awesome day to me.

Sounds interesting! I am in MN but it is still about a three hour drive.

It used to be fixed phone lines and you had to walk to where the phone (landline) was.
So maybe mobile brewing is the new thing

Lol..not too far of the mark...I can't recall what local brewery did it, but they drove an open IBC tote full of wort around an apple orchard in the back of a pick up truck so to pick up wild yeasts for their sour.
