I like Pale ales and have been making a few with BIAB
my problem is They are all cloudy, taste wise they are ok
i have tried leaving them 2 weeks in fermenter that has not helped ,when i bottle they do not settle, stay cloudy
Have not tried finning the been
i do use Whirlfloc
yeast has may no difference
My base malt is usually marris otter and hops are mostly citra
My mash temp is around the 67c mark and finish around 65c after 60min
Hops are always in a mesh bag for boiling and dry hopping
I have done 2 kit beers recently and dry hoped them and they both clear as any thing
just made them to test if it might be water

one thing to try............set some of a bottle aside (in a clear glass) and see if it clears as it warms up. will give you an idea if it is chill haze or just particulates.

do you cold crash when in the fermentor?

try doing a protien rest when mashing. 15 minutes at 122°F then ramping to mash temp.

a fining agent at the end of fermentation might help too. I use Biofin clear and love that stuff. 2 days and it is clear.

I cant cold crash i have no brew fridge
but might try some Biofin with next beer ,

Honestly, that is some of the issue. With out a cold crash, the haze won't fall out as efficiently.

Can you cold crash in the bottles? (Aka, fridge them for a Couple weeks before opening)

Def try the protein rest and the biofin.

Were the kits all grain? What brand Marris Otter are you using? Simpsons, Crisp or Bairds? Not sure if that might make a difference. I almost always get cloudy beer when I dry hop - but you seem to have already ruled that out via the kits...

You can cold crash after fermentation. Put it in the regular fridge upright for a couple of weeks.
