Hi all, I made up some cold brew to add to a stout that I'm going to bottle in the next day or two. I followed the instructions below but scaled it for a 2.5 gallon batch, and I didn't sanitize the Ball jar or lid that is holding the cold brew. https://www.homebrewersassociation.org/zymurgy/making-great-coffee-beer/
My question is: should I just dump it in the bottling bucket when I bottle or do something more sanitary? I was thinking of boiling the cold brew with a little water and the priming sugar (dextrose) to sanitize it. Or I have some vodka on hand. I could throw a few drops of vodka in the cold brew and shake it around? From what I've read, it seems like most people just dump it in the bottling bucket, but I wanted to make sure. I know there are lots of opinions about this, but I'm always curious about folks' various methods.
