2025 second quarter brew

Hopefully @Yontsey has more imagination than my last choice. But I brewed it anyway, still one of my favorites.

I really need to up my game and belatedly brew some of the Q's...

Lots of things I want to do...An Alt, a Hefe, another ESB, and the list goes on :) This one might give me a better understanding of a making a hoppy beer.

I’ll send a DM to @Yontsey if he doesn’t respond I was he backup and I’ll put something n before I go to sleep.

Sorry I've been absent lately y'all.

Back around Thanksgiving I got a Brewtools F40 fermenter and a Blichmann glycol chiller so I've been going to town on that thing.

I've done 4 beers so far in 2025. Munich Helles, a NEIPA, a WCIPA, and just brewed Wayners Pale Ale again (kegging that tomorrow). I'm brewing a NEIPA this weekend and following that up with a Cold IPA. I have my next 4-5 brews lined up. I'm willing to toss up any recipe you guys find interesting. My Helles was my favorite out of that group. The WCIPA didn't work for me but my friends enjoy it. I'm going to do another one with a different recipe I've been working with in a month or two.

Maybe link 2 or 3 recipes and see if there's a consensus in terms of interest. :) I have a Helles lined up but I'm splitting a batch so I can get a Dark Lager out of the same mash and boil. Also due for a Pale but I'm kegging an WCIPA tomorrow so could put the Pale off a week or two. I'd like to get in on the fun one way or another. :)

The Helles is close to what I have scheduled for my split lager, though I push it toward an Internation Lager with a bit of Rice.
Wayner's Pale is essentially the same as my house Pale and it's the other beer on my upcoming schedule. Main difference is that I pretty much always work in a little Simcoe in the late additions and Whirlpool. Citra and Mosaic is my typical hop combo but the only Citra I have right now is some years-old Citra Cryo. It's still sealed in 1 ounce packets but I don't really trust it for big flavor and aroma. I have some Galaxy that I'll probably throw into the dry-hop. That's what I used, along with Mosaic, to dry-hop my current WCIPA and it's pretty fantastic. :)

The idea of this is for you to offer one of your recipes, so I guess we would be looking at the Helles, or the BIG NEIPA.
Probably not hard for anyone to guess my preference

If you've never used hop hash from YVH, I highly recommend it for dry hopping. Such a great product. They're currently running a special where you get 4oz free for every $50 you spend.

Got my fermenter sanitized and pressurized tonight. Measured out my salts and weighed and milled my grains for tomorrow. Ready to rock and roll.

Unless I missed something I think we are waiting for you to pick one of your recipes for us to brew :)

Well that is handy as heck! I use Brewfather, copied that to my account.
That is a big beer!
