Hops Rhizomes Have Arrived
Saturday, March 7th, 2009This year I am planting some new hop varieties out front of the house. The rhizomes for my new Hallertau and Kent Goldings arrived last week. I’ll be posting more information about planting them, designing the trellis, caring for them, harvesting, and using them!
Here is what hops rhizomes look like when they arrive in the mail. They came in a moistened plastic bag.
I’m keeping them in the fridge for now because the weather has not been cooperating. Next week they will go in the ground!
