Add minerals to RO total water (both mash and sparge waters). My RO has a little NACL in it so I added 1/2 the usual amount of NACL. I boil with an enclosed lid and steam slayer condenser so boil off is 1/2 gallon per hour thus 11.5 gal pre boil and 11 gal post boil. The pilsner only needs a 1 hour boil. 90 minutes is not necessary. |
