Start time - 3:27p - 8 gall water 1.5 camden tablets
Mash started @ 5:15p-ish; started with 4 gallons of water but mash was too thick; added 2 more gallons
post mash gravity 1.058, pre sparge.

Have been nipping of these bottles for a couple of weeks now; carbonation has been hit or miss. I knew I didn't hit all bottles with the carb tabs. From now on it's bottling bucket and priming sugar.
The beer itself is pretty good. A dark brown color, with caramel notes and a good malt backbone. |
