For some annoying reason the OG turned out to be 1.046. Still, trying to figure out why. The amount of (rehydrated) dry yeast seems to be a considerable overpitching as the bubbles begun in under 5 hours and the noise from the amount of bubbles is like a broken motorcycle. Hope for the best. |

The amount and speed of bubbles is crazy. Fermentor temperature has risen to 26.5 (+1.5C from ideal yeast temp. range). |

After only two days the SG went from 1.046 to 1.013. Temperature fell to 22C without any environmental changes. The amount of bubbles has decreased significantly. The taste was actually not bad. Nice and rich maltiness with a hint of sweetness in the beginning and some really cool malt bitterness in the end. The hops gave some aroma but for now I don't really feel them in flavor. |
