Extended boil by 20 mins because of lower pre boil gravity. Still added bittering hops at 60 min so bittering should be the same |

Fermentation is extremely sluggish. Took 2 days to start and looks like less than normal airlock activity. Maybe because the yeast was old but i didnt write the harvest date on it |

Dumped yeast, added dry hops loose and purged with co2. Tasting really good, a lot of hop flavour and aroma considering it hasnt been dry hopped |

Kegged. Had a bit of trouble with the filter into the keg. Definitely next time it needs to be cold crashed and the hops need to be dropped from the cone so that the fine filter doesnt block with hops. Tasting really good though, thick juicy and not as bitter as i thought it would be. Definitely still has a neipa kind of flavour considering it was the west coast version and fermented with us05 |
