Notes

Belgian White Ale

Start with 4.5 gallons.
Bring water to 160 degrees F.
Steep grains for 30 minutes in a muslin bag.
Bring back to a boil.
Remove from burner and add 6.6 lb of LME
Stir until LME is dissolved.
Bring back to a boil.
At the beginning of the boil add 0.5 oz Saaz hops.
At 45 minutes into the boil, add 1 oz Saaz hops.
At 55 minutes into the boil add 1 oz Saaz hops.
At the end of the boil add the orange slices to the wort inside a large muslin bag for 30 minutes (Keep above 160 degrees F).
Chill wort down to 70 degrees F.
Add 1 gallon of water to the fermenter.
Transfer wort to the fermenter and shake to oxygenate the wort,
Pitch the yeast and stir.
Put in airlock and store fermenter in cool dark place.
