WARNING: Kettle losses > 2% detected which throw off OG calculation for extract/partial mash recipes in batch target 'fermentor' mode. Solution: Reduce kettle losses, misc losses and hops absorption in equipment profile, OR set batch target to 'kettle' and do a full wort boil. See batch target FAQ.

Notes

Belsnickle Christmas Ale is a 10.3% ABV Belgian Red Strong Ale. Brewed at the end of October 2017, it’s made with orange peel, cinnamon, and Jamaican allspice as well as a collection of German and British hops. After a year of cellaring, this brew has turned out to be exceptionally smooth, with some heft on the mouth. Spices and cloves come out of this with a hint of warmer days to come.
