Temp was a bit cold in the fermenter chamber. Added the heating pad to compensate. Didn't see any bubbling. |

Massive fermentation bubbling away this morning. Sticker temp strip showed 64 degrees, but digital temp control is set to 62 |

Still bubbling about every 6 seconds with blowoff tube. Unplugged the heater to let it free rise yesterday, but temp really hasn't increased. Will add it back for a diacetyl rest. |

Stirred up the fermenter to encourage attenuation. Will check again in a few days.
Checked the gravity using a refractometer and the hydrometer. |

Added half of a quart of whiskey and chips to the fermenter. However it started foaming over and had to take the chips out. Whiskey liquid is still in there. Will try to add the chips tomorrow. It was heaven Hill whiskey soaking with Jack Daniels chips. |

Added oak chips to secondary keg. Whiskey from chips was added about a week ago, but it started to foam up and I couldn't put the chips in. so I added more whiskey to the chips in a mason jar and waited a week and they finally were able to go in without foaming today |

Bottled 50 beers. Smelled and tasted pretty good. Used 4.3 ounces of cane sugar for priming. |
