Heated 8 gallons to 160 for strike. Added 6 gal to igloo tun, then added grain. Temp dropped to 140. Brought remaining two gallons to boil. Added to tun with stirring until temp remp 150. Let sit for 1hr, temp fell to 148. Heated 6 gal water to 160f for sparge (use gf). Sparge by pouring over top while draining tun into kettle. Start heat to bing to boil. Only got 11 gal in kettle. Add hose water to make it just over 12. Add sugars. Need extraa lb of table sugar to meet gravity. Adjusted recipe to nite this. Bring to boil and add 200 gm of tetnanger 3% aa in double bag. Boil 60 min, chill wity immersion, add to two fermentors, add yeast that had been propagated two days prior, decanted, then split between batches. Ferment at winter house temp (low mid 60's). Activity beginspretty quickly, the bucket even has some junk get up into the condenser at high krausen, but the overflow isntthat bad. |

Racked each fermenter into kegs. Pressurize to 20 psi for storage |
