Pretty good mash, hit most temps but used more water than planned. Drained off 1 gallon wort and boiled to hit final mash out temp. No water left for sparge, so just drained to kettle. |

Tapped keg today and drew off a sample. First four ounces was pretty yeasty, but next 8 oz was nice and clear, excellent light pilsner color, carbonation not bad already. Tasted fantastic, light grapefruit taste and quite bitter. Had another pint and reduced CO2 pressure. This one came out great, possibly five stars, will see if it is as good after a couple weeks in the keg. |
