Notes

Steep grains for 20 mins as water heats up, remove once water reaches 170 F

1/3 of the DME added at 30 mins as a late addition

1/4/2020 Split Batch:

  • split dry hop amounts in half (2 0.2 oz piles of each hop)
  • 0.2 of each hop goes into whirlpool, set aside other 2 piles for dry hop

    1 Gal dry hopped
  • add 0.2 each of dry hops to secondary ferment for 4-5 days
    1 Gal no dry hop

    OG: 1.053


    Whirlpool target temp = 170 F (remove from ice bath at around 175)
  • 20 mins of whirlpooling before resuming cooling
