See recipe "NOT Janet's Brown Ale" for recipe used. Cannot edit recipe used.
Brew Day Notes:
1) Forgot FWH hops until just prior to reaching boil. Added them then
2) Missed target volume by 1/2 gallon. Extra hops = extra absorption & windy day (10-15 mph) led to more boil off
3) BK filled to 9.5 gallons but, still had 1 gallon of wort to add. Need to plan for this! Post boil gravity was low so could not add this at the end either.
4) Added dry hops at flame out!! Next time weigh, partition & label all hops prior to boil!
5) Added 2 oz Cascade for dry hops

Recipe called for this --> 2.5 oz Centennial (10 AA) (Pellet) for 0 days
But since I inadvertently added them at flame out I used 2 oz of Cascade for the dry hop

Lifted airlock on Speidel to equalize pressure. After that liquid level in airlock returned to pre-cold-crash level.
Dropped temperature another 15 degrees.

Volume is without trub.

SRM very light. Brewing Classic Styles book says SRM should be 21. But my recipe calc'd SRM to 9. WTF? My recipe is missing the chocolate malt! Other versions of this recipe do.
