Notes

Make a 2.2L starter w/ 220g of DME

  • started 60 min timer too late (vol too low) - ended up w/ only 5.5 gal in the kettle at the end
  • added (5) water bottles to replace the volume - ended up with the gravity too low
  • tried to "fix it" by adding 16 oz of dextrose - I have 5.4 gal in the fermenter
  • F.G. = 1.011 --> lower than expected over 8.5% abv
