Origional gravity was 1.096 after boil with temp correction.
Added 4 pints of water to bring gravity to 1.072 (target OG).
Coffee and Chocolate notes. Pitched yeast (WLP002). |

Racked into second bucket as large amount of sediment making it harder to test gravity and large amount of krausen gunk on side of bucket. |

Added 180mL Bourbon for desired taste. Carbonated with 90g sugar in sugar syrup (2:1 sugar:water). |

Coffee and chocolate notes on nose with an after note of oak. Tastes of coffee and chocolate with a malt bourbon note. Very warming. Definitely be brewing again. If it tastes this good when young then aging can only improve. |
