Notes

Work in Progress.

Uncharted territory for me. I don't brew IPAs, but this is more an experiment in color and balance. It's "a little" much. A little too sweet, "a little" more IBUs than I typically go for. "A Little" more boozy than I usually attempt.

A little more fun...I like the idea of a Red Red boozy beer. Perfect for winter relaxation. Brewed enough in advance to let it mellow.

Now I just need the ingredients. They are based on what little I know of Stone Brewings' Pataskala red - it usually shows up in January or February. The Bestmaltz company says it is their RED X malt that is in it, and although you can use RED X up to 100% - the Goldswaen malt should enhance the backbone. Everyone else's hops are the holy trinity, but I used less...I didn't want a 80 or more IBU hop bomb.
