Not a dry hop, but adding "secondary" ingredients to fermenter. Weighed out 5oz unsulfured, unsweetened coconut chips (bob's red mill) and toasted @ 350F until golden brown. Added that to boil-sterilized hop bag with the vodka soaked cacao nibs (vanilla vodka soaked into the nibs). Added this bag to fermenter. Moved fermenter from basement to kitchen pantry to increase temp to 63-68F range to finish out fermentation. Anticipate 2 days of contact with toasted coconut and cacao nibs. |
