- removed the heatstick at the 33 minute mark.
- hung each hop addition using paint strainer bags
- did not tip the kettle or anything, just poured the volume we wanted, stopped exactly when we would have needed to tip.
- @ 1.058 @ 71.5 F raw, did not use offset. |

- 8 gal @ 166 F + 23 lb @ 75 F = 152 F mash in (1.391 qt/lb)
- @ 152.8 F @ 60 min
- @ 150.0 F @ 30 min pre stir, @ 151.7 F post
- @ 151.7 F @ 0 min
- got 5.35 gal first runnings
- added 4.5 gal of hot waters
- @ 169.0 F @ 12 min |
