Home brew recipe bible Eighty Bob Ale

Mash grains at 152F for 60 mins
Heat boil top-off water to coincide with finish of mash
Mashout at 168F
Rinse with sparge water (170F)


Add to brew kettle, and add ingredients per schedule

  • 2 lbs DME (60 mins)
  • First Gold (60 mins)

    Begin boiling 1 gal water (for OG, post chill)


  • 3 lbs DME (15 mins)
  • 1 tsp Irish Moss (15 mins)
  • 0.5 tsp yeast nutrient (10 mins)
  • Kent Goldings, Heather (0 mins)

    Chill to 70F, get to OG, pitch yeast

    Ferment at desired temp (60F) for 3 weeks
