Notes

This is one of my early all-grain recipes I thought I would share with everyone. I love the combination of Amarillo and Cascade hops. Originally brewed in 2007, this was a team brew with a good friend (we each got 5 gallons). After it went to keg, my wife and I finished it off in just over 2 weeks - the majority of it during a camping trip over Memorial Day weekend that year (this is a very drinkable IPA).

Be sure to make a big yeast starter for this and let it sit for at least a month to six weeks before packaging (trust me, the wait is worth it). You may have to rouse the yeast periodically to get it down to 1.017. For a 5 gallon batch, just halve the ingredients.
