Failed mash. Lots of dry spots at bottom of malt pipe. Not adequately stirred, so only got about half the sugar needed. Also. must validate what the actual mash temperature is with thermometer rather than believing what Robobrew says it is. |

Boiled off about half the volume in order to get to right starting gravity. Should have boiled down to 12 litres but overcooked it. |

Did not take gyle. Will use sugar. Couldn't even immersion chill due to such low volume. Let it cool overnight and pitched yeast in the morning. |
