WARNING: Kettle losses > 2% detected which throw off OG calculation for extract/partial mash recipes in batch target 'fermentor' mode. Solution: Reduce kettle losses, misc losses and hops absorption in equipment profile, OR set batch target to 'kettle' and do a full wort boil. See batch target FAQ.

Notes

Do not add DME to boil. Allow volume to go a little low and begin primary fermentation. After fermentation has calmed down, boil the DME in as little water as possible, and add when cool. This is a VERY active fermentation and it can easily blow off the airlock. (Ahem, that might have happened...)

Secondary Ferm - Add 2oz med oak chips soaked in 16oz of bourbon.
