Mashed in 24lt @ 62.5c set for 40 minutes. Stepped to 68c for 20 minutes. Stepped to 70.5 for 10 mins. |

No mash out. Sparge water was 86c quite hot. Sparge was smooth didn't squeeze bag so much. A good decent break was formed. |

Boil started vigerous then settled back about 20 in. Used the second element at 450watt for last 20mins of boil. Paused timer when added imersion chiller till boil was reached again. |

Chilled to 27c transfered straight to fermentor in chamber ontop of yeast.
Filled fermentor to 20.5 it.
Main element was quite burnt at and of brew different from other batches. Wort tasted nice no burnt flavours. |

Looks like fermentation is done today. Left fermentation alone didn't raise temperature. Sample smells pretty clean there is a smell going on but I can't place it. It tastes a little spicey a little hot maybe a touch of pepper clove thing going on but all in all tastes clean. Will keg this one up me thinks. |

First carbed taste today . Aroma smells to me of off fruit If not a little farty like sulphur which is weird.
Head is miniscule but remains a thin film with nice lacing. Mouthfeel well balanced full bodied not too sweet good bitterness not to over the top as per last kviek. Colour pale with a deep orange middle finishes clean a relatively dry. I recon as this one ages a week or two will be a good drinker. |

Still a slight sulphur note one pour that fades with swirling has a nice slight moat flavor nice clean beer more ale like than lager but not far off. Not a bad beer pretty good just not great. |

This sulphur has cleaned up a bit but a little to bitey it's heaps clean other than this but bitterness stops you chugging on it. |
