Created 2 liter start with left over American Ale Yeast from previous batch. Overbuilt and saved 500ml for next batch. Cold crashed and will decant before pitching. Start fermented out of flask, next time I should use foam control in starter. |

Mash calculator was way off. Heated water to 162, added bag and grains, stirred and temp only dropped to 154. Left mash at 154 for 60 min. |

Collected a little too much water. Increased boil time to 75 min but left the hop additions the same time. First hop at 60 min. |

Warm day, could only cool to 71. Decanted and pitched yeast at 71 and set ferm chamber to 68. Will raise temp to 71 as fermentation completes. |

Good brew day. Took longer than expected due to the higher gravity beer and manual sparging process. Loss some volume when filtering out wort through strainer into fermenter as a work had a lot of hop trub. |

Up'd temp to 69. Fermentation is starting to slow a little. Blow off tube helped. |

Adding 1 oz Willamette into dry hop container then putting into co2 purged keg, then transferring beer into keg at room temp and letting sit for 3 days.

Close transfer over to co2 purged keg with dry hops. Going to let it sit at room temp for another 2-3 days before cold crashing. |

Moved keg into fridge for 12 hours. Added gelatin via carb cap bottle so no oxygen exposure at all. Set to 45 PSI for 24 hours. |
