Mash temp after initial water, was 155, added 3 quarts cold water (forgot to subtract 3 quarts from sparge). Mashed at 152 (ended at 151.) Sparge water 188, temp in tun was 168. Was 3 quarts left after I drew off 32. |

Even with whirlfloc, last 2 quarts into the fermenter had a lot of stuff. Shut it off at that point to keep from drawing more. |

This beer took forever to complete fermentation. Should have used a starter. |

Didn't bother to dry hop, as this batch took so long to ferment. Bottled and hoping for the best. Tasted fairly good before bottling. |

This beer took forever to finish fermenting, so I didn't bother to dry hop it, just bottled and hoped for the best. It really surprised me - not quite the NEIPA I was shooting for, but more of a west coast vibe. A few interesting flavors, probably from the long fermentation, but nothing unpleasant. Rather enjoyable. |
